SYLACAUGA, Ala. – Coosa Valley Medical Center has updated its COVID-19 cases.
124 COVID-19 tests have been completed at CVMC. One patient is currently hospitalized with a confirmed COVID-19 diagnosis. 13 patients have tested positive for COVID-19.
CVMC will continue sharing COVID-19 information daily to help keep its community informed. CVMC continues to care for patients while strictly adhering to CDC guidelines for those patients who are being tested and/or treated for COVID-19.

We have implemented safe, various ways to make sure your healthcare is not interrupted during this time. Keep your appointment or if you need medical care, please seek it. CVMC has implemented deep cleaning protocols in all patient care areas. CVMC team members are actively following meticulous infection control practices including the use of personal protective equipment when necessary.
CVMC has continued to test patients who have active symptoms relative to COVID-19 and remain prepared to provide care to any patient testing positively. Please be reminded that the hospital continues to be a safe place for all patients needing care.
