CVMC to receive 500 additional doses of the COVID-19 vaccine.

SYLACAUGA, Ala. – Coosa Valley Medical Center has announced they will receive additional doses of the COVID-19 vaccine.

CVMC plans to give out 500 tickets on Monday, March 29, 2021 starting at 8:00 a.m. They are also expanding eligibility to those 55 and older, and anyone over 16 with certain health conditions, including heart disease, kidney disease, cancer, obesity, diabetes and other high-risk medical conditions as determined by your medical provider.

• There will be 500 tickets handed out on March 29.
• The ticket will include the date and time for your vaccine to be given
• Please remain outside in the designated line. (The tickets will only be distributed to those in line)
•Each person may receive 2 tickets
• Target population: 65 years of age and over with high-risk medical conditions and the Coosa Valley Medical Center service area
• No appointments will be made
The CVMC team is working diligently to distribute vaccines, as soon as they arrive on campus.
