SYLACAUGA, Ala. – The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention panel unanimously recommended Pfizer and Moderna vaccine booster shots for immunocompromised Americans.
This decision follows Thursday’s authorization from the Food and Drug Administration.
Coosa Valley Medical Center says it is awaiting guidance on when boosters will become available, and who will be eligible to receive it. In a Facebook post, CVMC said it will release its plan when more information becomes available.
