TALLADEGA, Ala. – Central Alabama CrimeStoppers and the Talladega Police Department are seeking information regarding the cold case murder of 22-year old Nijah Latajuan Curry.
Curry was found to be the victim of a homicide that occurred on April 7, 2020.
Three years later, Central Alabama CrimeStoppers are offering a reward of $2,500 to anyone that can provide details to determine who was responsible for Curry’s death.
On April 7, 2020, Talladega Police Department officers responded to a 911 call about gunshots being heard in the area of 432 W. Coosa St. around 8:38 p.m.
Officers found Curry, who had suffered from a fatal gunshot wound, once they arrived at the scene. Curry was pronounced dead.
A second victim was also discovered in the area and was transported to Citizen’s Baptist Medical Center for treatment of non life-threatening injuries.
Curry’s family has coordinated with Central Alabama CrimeStoppers to offer a $2,500 cash reward for any leads that result in the arrest of individual(s) involved in the homicide.
