COVID-19 death toll at six in Alabama, Talladega Co. sits at five confirmed cases

SYLACAUGA, Ala. – The death toll of COVID-19 has been updated by the Alabama Department of Public Health.

As of 10:00 Monday morning, six Alabamians have died from the virus according to ADPH. Those deaths were recorded in Mobile Co., Jackson Co., Madison Co., Chambers Co., Lauderdale Co., and Tallapoosa Co.

Death numbers could be skewed as East-Alabama Medical Center in Opelika has reported six deaths from the virus from its facility alone.

831 total cases have been confirmed in Alabama with over 6,500 tests being completed. Talladega Co. has five confirmed cases with exact locations of cases unknown.
