SYLACAUGA, Ala. – After 19 years of business, Buttermilk Hill Restaurant closes its doors.
The coronavirus pandemic has significantly impacted small businesses, specifically restaurants.
“If you know me personally, you know that this was a very hard decision, but you also know that I’m a survivor and know when to bail from a fast sinking ship,” said owner Kara McClendon. “It is what it is. I am trying to sell the property now without having to deal with a foreclosure or bankruptcy.”
The building is currently listed for sale on Zillow.
