County Line Volunteer Fire Department hosting Emergency Care Provider classes through Alabama Fire College


SYLACAUGA, Ala. – On Saturday, 20 students from across the state met at County Line Volunteer Fire Department to begin the Emergency Care Provider class through the Alabama Fire College.

The class was offered to Alabama volunteer firefighters free of charge, and is being taught by Captain Brian Ward, a certified Fire and EMS Instructor, and Advanced EMT.

Students from County Line VFD, Oak Grove VFD, Munford VFD, Marble Valley VFD, and self-sponsored students from the Guntersville area will complete 24 classroom hours over the next several days, learning information and skills to better help serve their community.
