County Extension Service teams up with Childersburg Parks and Recreation

CHILDERSBURG, Ala. – The Talladega County Extension Service is introducing a new and exciting program with Childersburg Parks and Recreation, titled “Eating Smart and Moving More.”

The program for families is being offered by the Talladega County office of the Alabama Co-op Extension.

It’s a free class designed to teach about family nutrition that includes lots of new recipes. The lesson series is designed to help families develop healthy eating habits while being active.

This is a six-week class that meets for one hour each week beginning Tuesday, Feb. 4 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.

Class dates are Feb. 4, Feb. 13, Feb. 18, Feb. 25, March 4, and March 13.
