SYLACAUGA, Ala. – The 2021 Talladega County Tournament is a little different this year. Normally, all games are hosted at one location. This year, the higher seeds gets to host games throughout the bracket.
The top-seeded Aggies will have home-court advantage through the entirety of the tournament, which potentially sets up for some massive rivalry games at Douglass-Martin Court.
Tonight Sylacauga, led by second year head coach Kent Fullington, will host TC Central in the first round at 6:00. Watch on Facebook Live and Twitter. If Sylacauga wins, it will host the winner of Winterboro and Childersburg in the second round. The Aggies have already played Childersburg once this season at home. Assuming Childersburg wins, Sylacauga will get to host the Tigers in a primetime Friday night game.
Then, it gets even better if the Aggies stay alive through the first two games. Sylacauga would host Talladega Saturday (assuming Talladega wins its games in tournament play) in the county title game to avenge a heartbreaking loss from last Friday night.
