Allen Brew Market is proud to recognize Ja’Von Peterson as this week’s Athlete of the Week after his all-around performance in the Cougars’ 38-32 region win over Horseshoe Bend. Peterson made an impact in every phase of the game and was a key reason the Cougars came out on top.
On offense, Peterson was explosive with the football, rushing 11 times for 105 yards and a touchdown while adding 75 yards through the air. On special teams, he turned heads with three kick returns totaling 190 yards, including one he took all the way back for a score. He also made his presence felt on defense, finishing with three tackles.
