Coosa Valley MRI asking patients to come to appointments alone

SHARE NOW

SYLACAUGA, Ala. – Coosa Valley MRI has updated its daily operating procedure.

The organization released the following statement to SylacaugaNews.com as it deals with the COVID-19 pandemic.

“To work in unison with our country’s effort to slow down the spread of the COVID-19 virus, Coosa Valley MRI is asking that patients come to their MRI appointment by themselves.  The exception is if you need a driver, caretaker, or parent during your MRI appointment and that is limited to one person.  If you have developed a fever, cough, or shortness of breath please call us prior to your appointment so we may reschedule you to a later date.  We encourage you to contact your primary care physician so they can provide you with the best direction for a diagnosis and treatment plan.  We hope everyone can stay as well as possible during this time!”
