SYLACAUGA, Ala. – Coosa Valley Medical Center will host its next Community Links program on Monday, May 4, offering attendees insight into how common symptoms may signal the need for surgical care.
The session, titled “From Symptoms to Surgery: What Your Body May Be Telling You,” will take place at the B. B. Comer Memorial Library in the Harry I. Brown Auditorium. Lunch begins at 11:00 a.m., followed by the presentation at 12:00 p.m.
Dr. Matthew Dimon, Chief of Surgery at Coosa Valley Medical Center and a board-certified general surgeon with Sylacauga Surgical Associates, will lead the discussion.
He will outline the ten most common procedures performed at Coosa Valley Medical Center and review the warning signs patients often experience beforehand.
The program is designed for individuals experiencing ongoing discomfort or those seeking to better understand surgical options and recognize early health signals.
