SYLACAUGA, Ala. – Coosa Valley Medical Center (CVMC) will host Community Links: Heart to Heart on Monday, Feb. 3, as part of American Heart Month, aiming to empower individuals with knowledge about heart health.

Community Links are held at the B.B. Comer Memorial Library, beginning with lunch at 11:00 a.m. and followed by a presentation at noon.

Dr. David Schultz, a specialist in general and interventional cardiology, will discuss heart disease prevention, the importance of regular screenings, and how early detection can save lives.

Heart disease remains the leading cause of death in the U.S., affecting millions. Through initiatives like this, CVMC and other Alabama hospitals are working to raise awareness and encourage heart-healthy habits.

Coosa Valley Medical Center offers a range of cardiac services, including diagnostic testing, advanced procedures, rehabilitation programs, and a state-of-the-art cardiac catheterization lab.
