SYLACAUGA, Ala. – For the third straight year, the Coosa Valley Medical Center Foundation has partnered with the Sylacauga Lions Club to support Camp Seale Harris, a program helping children with Type 1 Diabetes.
A $1,200 check was recently presented by the Coosa Valley Medical Center Foundation to assist in sending Talladega County children to the medically supervised camp.
Operated by Southeastern Diabetes Education Services, Camp Seale Harris offers overnight, day, and family camps, helping kids build confidence and connect with others living with Type 1 Diabetes.
The Coosa Valley Medical Center Foundation, a nonprofit organization, raises funds through events like its annual Seafood Scramble Golf Tournament. Its mission is to promote wellness and expand access to healthcare throughout the region.
