Obviously they’re viewed in the home where they provide caring and compassionate Hospice care every day. But we’re thrilled to get more of a storefront view.”The Coosa Valley Hospice Care team is now located in the former Dr. Waid Blackstone building.“We worked with Dr. Blackstone, who is an ophthalmologist on staff here at CVMC, to be able to purchase the building. He’s now a full time resident at our Coosa Valley Medical Plaza, so it opened up the opportunity to move the Hospice team here and we’re very excited to have them in this new space,” said Sisk. There’s about 2,500 square feet in total in the facility. There are plenty of offices for the nursing team. They spend most of their time on the road obviously, but the support personnel and the office staff are here full time. It’s certain available for drive-up parking for families and patients that need to access care here, so we welcome anyone anytime. Coosa Valley Hospice Care creates a holistic, affirming atmosphere for patients, with assistance for the friends and family members who love them. As a continuum of the services of Coosa Valley Medical Center Coosa Valley Hospice Care promotes the highest levels of comfort, peace and dignity, and provide compassionate care through physical, spiritual and emotional support.
