SYLACAUGA, Ala. — Coosa Pines Federal Credit Union has kicked off its annual Giving Tree, inviting members and community residents to help brighten the holiday season for foster children across the region.
As part of the effort, Christmas trees decorated with individual gift tags are now on display in the lobbies of the credit union’s branches. Each tag represents a child currently in the care of county DHR offices in Talladega, St. Clair, Clay, and Coosa counties. Participants can select a tag, purchase the listed gift, and return the unwrapped item to any branch by Dec. 12.

The Coosa Pines federal Credit Union Giving Tree has become one of their most meaningful traditions, providing hundreds of gifts each year to children in foster care. Staff members work directly with social workers to make sure each child’s wish list is fulfilled.
The program reflects the credit union’s longstanding mission to support families throughout the region. As the holidays approach, Coosa Pines encourages anyone in the community to take part and help share a little extra joy with children who need it most.
