VINCENT, Ala. –  The adage goes, ‘Time flies when you’re having fun.’ This rang especially true for Coosa Pines Federal Credit Union as they celebrated a ten-year journey, the anniversary of the Vincent Branch.

Under the exceptional leadership of Branch Manager Kendra Ricks and Assistant Manager Pearlie Shepherd, the dedicated Vincent team has cultivated deep-rooted connections with the city and its valued credit union members.

“From the beginning, the unwavering support and positive feedback have been overwhelming,” said President/CEO Don Carden, “This is evident by the branch’s flawless five-star rating on Google—a testament to our commitment to excellence and the trust placed in us by the community.”

He continued, “Behind every successful branch is a dedicated team. (Our Vincent employees) have done more than process transactions. They have shared stories, listened to dreams, and celebrated milestones with members. Their hard work and genuine love for the city have left an indelible mark on Vincent.”

Branch Manager Kendra Ricks has also been moved by the warm welcome and ongoing friendship given to the branch by its members. “From the first day we opened our doors, our members have been more than customers; they’ve been partners in our journey. We’ve grown together over the last ten years, weathered storms, celebrated victories, and built lasting connections. Our achievements are not just ours but shared with every member.”

Since opening the city’s only financial institution, Coosa Pines has continued to invest in Vincent and pledged to maintain its service to Shelby County members and citizens with integrity, innovation, and excellence. “Our commitment remains unchanged—to be more than a financial institution,” said Carden. “We aspire to be a trusted partner, an advocate for financial well-being, and a force for positive change.”

Coosa Pines FCU was chartered in 1950 and has a field of membership that includes Clay, Coosa, Shelby, St. Clair, and Talladega counties, Alabama.
