Coosa County Sheriff’s Office makes arrest in 1999 double-murder case

COOSA COUNTY, Ala. – An arrest has been made in a 21-year-old Coosa County murder cold case.

On Jan. 12, 1999, Jodi Angelina Stallions, 17, was murdered alongside her mother, Bobbie Ingram, 38, with apparent gunshot wounds to the head, according to the CCSO website. An 8-month-old baby was left behind in the home unharmed.

Twenty-one years later, 42-year-old Joe Daniel Stallions is behind bars and charged with two counts of capital murder.

Stallions was admitted to the Coosa County Jail at 11:09 Wednesday night.
