WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Rep. Mike Rogers (R-AL) wants to remind any interested high school seniors that the deadline to apply and receive a Congressional nomination to attend one of the service academies is coming up soon.

The four service academies involved are the U.S. Military Academy, the U.S. Naval Academy, the U.S. Air Force Academy, and the U.S. Merchant Marines Academy. The U.S. Coast Guard Academy does not require a Congressional nomination.

To be considered for a nomination for appointment to any of the service academies, seniors must complete Rogers’ application material and submit online or mail the completed packet to one of Rogers’ district offices.

The applications can be sent to either of the following addresses:

Congressman Mike Rogers
Attn: Service Academy Application
701 Avenue A, Suite 300
Opelika, AL 36801

Congressman Mike Rogers
Attn: Service Academy Application
149 E. Hamric Drive, Suite D
Oxford, AL 36203

Dec. 15, 2022 is the application deadline date.

You can visit here for more info or call Rep. Rogers’ Washington, D.C. office at (202) 225-3261.
