SYLACAUGA, Ala. – Care House of Sylacauga is dedicated to helping families in Sylacauga, especially this time of year as they put on their annual benefit concert.

First Presbyterian Church is hosting this year’s concert on Thursday Nov. 30 for Care House of Sylacauga. Two groups will be performing at the concert, the Spring Street Quartet and the Cameratas. The Spring Street Quartet with Catie Simpkins, Rocky Lucas, Matt Crocker, and Steve Lewis will be singing Southern gospel  music. The Cameratas with Bruce and Tracy Carr, David and Catie Simpkins, Steve Lewis, and accompanist Robin Lewis will entertain with mostly Christmas music.

The concert is dedicated to the late wife of Care House’s Earl Lewis, Willa Dean Lewis, who passed away last year on Nov. 30.

This has been an annual event for the past several years. Admission is either a $5 donation or three non-perishable food items. The concert will start promptly at 6:30 in the sanctuary. Everyone is invited to attend.
