SYLACAUGA, Ala . – It is never too early tho think about Christmas and get into the Christmas spirit.
The Comer Museum is hosting a Christmas ornament contest where you can create your own ornament while preparing yourself for the holidays. According to the museum, all ornaments should be made from every day items that can be found in the home.
All ornaments turned into the Comer Museum will be exhibited on one of the many trees in the museum throughout the month of December.
The museum will accept entries until Nov. 1. The winners of the contest will be announced on Nov. 16 at the museums monthly reception.
After Christmas, all ornaments will be sold and proceeds will benefit the museum.
To help in the process of creating your own ornament, creative classes will be offered. The museum asks that you visit and experience the art and programs it has to offer.
