SYLACAUGA, Ala. – The Isabel Anderson Comer Museum and Arts Center is celebrating Black History Month with a special art exhibition throughout February, highlighting the work of Black artists from across Alabama.
The exhibit showcases artwork that honors the legacy, creativity, and contributions of Black artists, both past and present.
A reception will be held on Thursday, Feb. 20 at 6:00 p.m., offering an evening of art, music, and free refreshments. Guests will have the opportunity to meet the featured artists, enjoy live entertainment, and purchase select pieces.
The event is free and open to the public.
Visitors are also encouraged to explore the collection throughout the month during regular museum hours .
Organizers invite the community to take part in the celebration and support local artists.
