College Park developer responds to errant social media rumors

SHARE NOW

CHILDERSBURG, Ala. – Robbyn Duncan, the on-site agent at the new College Park development from Rausch-Coleman Homes in Childersburg, has publicly addressed recent rumors and misinformation circulating about the community.

“Firstly, College Park is not a Section 8 community, and these are not apartments. Our community is open to anyone who can afford to purchase a home, whether it be by cash, VA, FHA, Conventional, or USDA. Additionally, there are not plans or intentions to house illegal immigrants in this community. I am unsure where these rumors originated, but they are simply not true,” said Duncan.

Duncan says that she is available to address any questions or concerns.

“Please don’t hesitate to reach out to me directly at (205) 878-5888,” Duncan noted. “I’m here to provide accurate information and address any issues you may have.”

With more than a dozen homes already in various levels of construction progress and more on the way, Duncan further addressed where they are finding buyers for the new properties.

“I have been asked about where future residents will come from,” continued Duncan.” Our community is attracting hardworking individuals, first-time homebuyers, people relocating, down-sizing, and just people that are ready to move closer to family. Our community is growing, and I am confident it will continue to thrive with dedicated and hardworking residents.”

To date, seven homes have been sold, and College Park has over ten homes started and expected to be ready for occupancy in the next two months as the development continues to grow.
