SYLACAUGA, Ala. – Christmas is just around the corner and The Sylacauga Chamber of Commerce wants to help you get in the Christmas spirit.
Here’s the event schedule for Christmas in Sylacauga.
Sylacauga Christmas Tree Lighting and Activities:
Sylacauga Chamber of Commerce is sponsoring “Light the Night” on Sunday, Nov. 29, 2020 at Central Park across from Blue Bell. Events begin at 4:00 p.m.
Enjoy the giant inflatable snow globe, take selfies in the photo booth, walk in a Winter Wonderland with special snow, and enjoy hot chocolate and other treats! Get your photo with Santa and tell him how good you’ve been! Then enjoy the official tree lighting with “Light the Night” at Central Park! This year, the chamber is planting a live Christmas Tree to stay in Central Park to light for Christmas each year.
Take your chairs and blankets and plan to make an evening of Christmas fun with your community!

The Sylacauga Christmas Parade:
Celebrate Sylacauga’s favorite Christmas event, The Sylacauga Christmas Parade. Line the streets of downtown Sylacauga on Dec. 3rd to see floats from local businesses and organizations, marching bands, and of course, Santa Claus. The parade begins at 6:00 p.m.
Sylacauga Christmas Market:
Christmas Market will be hosted atThe Place on Broadway on Dec. 5, 2020 from 9:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. Get out to see the best of what Sylacauga merchants and home-based businesses have to offer!
A VIP Sneak Peek will be held Friday, Dec. 4 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Admission is $15 per person. Saturday admission is five nonperishable food items or a new unwrapped toy.

Gift wrapping will be available, also. If you would like to volunteer your group to wrap gifts for donations, please contact the Sylacauga Chamber at (256) 249-0308.
All donations will benefit SAFE.
Christmas Saturdays in the Marble City:
Christmas Saturdays will be held on Dec. 5th and 12th in downtown Sylacauga to include music and a kids corner sponsored by The Craft Studio. They will offer hand-painted ornaments and a giant 18-foot inflatable snow slide. A photo corner will include a giant snow globe, selfie photo booth, and Santa at the pavilion.

Sylacauga Christmas Pajama Party:
Everyone loves Christmas pajamas. This year, The Chamber of Commerce is asking everyone in Sylacauga to sport their favorite festive pajamas while at work, school, and home on Thursday, Dec. 17. Ditch the suit and tie for this one day to really gear you into the Christmas spirit. Take photos of your friends and family and tag the Sylacauga Chamber and use #SylPJParty.
