CHILDERSBURG, Ala. – A Childersburg family is frantically searching for a missing family member with a mental disability.

23-year-old Kaitlin Fields went missing from her grandparent’s home in Childersburg last night according to her aunt, Ashley Cox.

Cox said Fields was last seen going to bed at her grandparent’s home before she sneaked out of the house around 11:00 p.m. Monday night. She has not been heard from since.

Cox believes someone picked Fields up after she left the house or she walked.

“This has never happened before, and we are terrified,” said Cox. “It’s very scary. I’m scared something has happened to her.”

Fields is a white female with brown hair that is 5-feet 5-inches tall and weighs 120-130 pounds. The family does not know what Fields is wearing.

The family has contacted the Childersburg Police Department. If you have seen, or know where Fields may be, please contact the Childersburg Police Department.
