CHILDERSBURG, Ala. – Teachers representing Talladega County Schools appeared before the Childersburg City Council to give a report on student achievement and the process that determines school scores.
Those scores are determined according to evaluations in the following areas, with the percentage of their score weight:
Achievement – 20%
Growth – 30%
Graduation Rate – 30%
Absenteeism – 10%
College and Career Readiness (CCR) Rate – 10%
Childersburg Middle School’s score was 84 for the 2024-2025 school year. That’s a rise from the 2018-2019 school year score of 78.
Childersburg High School’s score was 77 for the 2024-2025 school year. That’s a rise from the 2018-2019 school year score of 69.
