CHILDERSBURG, Ala. – The Childersburg Street Department will begin a city-wide leaf removal project beginning next week.
It is only for leaves, and they must be placed at the edge of the road for the vacuum system to pick them up.
Estimated start dates and areas are noted below and dependent on weather conditions. The Street Department will update as needed via the City of Childersburg’s Facebook page.
Starting on January 14, in the following areas:
The east side of Hwy 280 including Forest Hills, Pinecrest, Downtown, etc., followed by the west side of Hwy 280 including Grove Park, River Run, Watwood, etc.
