Childersburg Police Department celebrates Christmas together, hands out awards

CHILDERSBURG, Ala. – The Childersburg Police Department held their end of the year Christmas party earlier this week. Chief Kevin Koss presented two year end departmental awards.

Sgt. Mike Moore received the 2024 Officer of the Year and Lt. Brandon Hughes received the 2024 Top Gun Award for the highest firearms score. These awards celebrate and acknowledge the dedication and professionalism not only of these 2 officers but the entire police department.

“We are equally grateful for the support and partnership we share with our community. We are looking forward to an even better 2025,” said Chief Koss.
