CHILDERSBURG, Ala. – Childersburg Parks and Recreation’s Summer Camp is back for 2024, promising a summer filled with fun activities for kids ages 5-12.
Running from Monday, June 3, to Friday, July 26, this day camp will operate weekdays from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., with options for full or half-day participation.
With only 50 spots available, early registration is crucial via childersburg.recdesk.com. The $40 registration fee includes a camp t-shirt and weekly treats from Archie’s Shaved Ice. Tuition fees are $25 per day or $80 per week, with half-day options also available.
The camp offers a diverse range of activities, including field trips, water days, swimming, and more. However, punctuality is key, with a $5 late fee for every 15 minutes overdue at pickup.
No cell phone use will be permitted, and each child must bring their lunch and drinks daily. Field trips will incur additional costs and require prepayment.
Campers must adhere to behavior guidelines, and camp will be closed on the dates of June 19 as well as July 4-5.
