CHILDERSBURG, Ala. – As the first new home construction began in Childersburg’s “College Park” housing development, Jimmy Moore announced plans for another Childersburg development project, “Griffin Creek” across from Childersburg High School.

“Now through November, we’ll be setting the neighborhoods – streets, underground utilities, and such,” explained Moore, “Then, the entire property will be sold to Century Homes to build 63 new homes, beginning in December through February.”

There will be a mix of single-family homes, priced in the low to mid $200,000 range, most near 1,500 sq. ft.

The homes will feature stainless steel appliances and granite countertops in the kitchens, privacy fencing, and outdoor lighting on all four corners.
