CHILDERSBURG, Ala. – Childersburg Elementary School Principal Nicki Bryant has been named to the Class of 2026 Extraordinary Educators Leadership Academy by Curriculum Associates, recognizing her commitment to student achievement and schoolwide innovation.
Bryant is among 46 educators nationwide selected for the seventh iteration of the Extraordinary Educators program, first launched in 2020. The Leadership Collaborative honors principals and vice principals in their first through fifth years who demonstrate growth in student outcomes, champion high academic standards, and foster engaging, innovative learning environments.
Curriculum Associates cited Bryant’s leadership in advancing student success through data-informed instruction and a strong school culture. When asked to describe Childersburg Elementary’s culture in three words, Bryant responded: “Vibrant, perseverant, risk takers.”
The Extraordinary Educators program recognizes educators who have experience using i-Ready or Ready classroom tools, demonstrate measurable achievement through formal assessments, and serve as advocates for strong outcomes for all students.
