The Childersburg City Council met on Tuesday, Sept. 15, 2020, at 6:00 p.m. for their regular meeting with the following agenda of items for action:
The Council approved a part-time temporary fire at a firefighter position. Jacob Maddox will start at $11.50 per hour until completing his basic certification within six months to move to $12.28 per hour.
The Street Department was granted approval for Arzo Tarwater, III to fill a temporary general laborer position per approval during the last Council meeting.
The Council approved payment of invoices in the amount of $87,377.24.
The next regular meeting will be held on Oct. 6, 2020 at 6:00 p.m.
