CHILDERSBURG, Ala. – The Childersburg City Council met on Tuesday, Oct. 4, 2022, at 6:00 p.m. with the following agenda of items for action:
The Council agenda included four resolutions, three of them concerning work by Richardson Construction at the new Mountain Bike Trail.
Resolution 2022-45 approves completion of road access to the trail at a cost of $49,900 (paid through Grant RT-54-03). Resolution 2022-46 approves installation of a pavilion at the trail at a cost of $14,229.64, also paid through the same grant. Resolution 2022-48 approves Richardson Construction to clear from the bike trail parking area to the roadway access in the amount of $7,170.
Approval was also given to Resolution 2022-47, which allows the purchase of medical emergency supplies from Bound Tree in the amount of $746.42, paid from the ARP fund.
The Council approved repairs to a pair of police department vehicles. The cost to repair a Dodge Charger will be $1,755. The cost to repair a 2007 Chevy Tahoe assigned to Investigations by Tim’s Automotive costs $1,810.55.
Council approval was given for payment of invoices in the amount of $247,897.69.
The next regular meeting of the Childersburg City Council will take place at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 18, 2022.
