CHILDERSBURG, Ala. – The Childersburg High School Lady Tigers volleyball team is looking to turn the corner under the direction of their new head coach.
First year business education teacher, Terrie Sprayberry is looking to lead the Lady Tigers to a successful season during her head coaching debut.
“This is my first year in a head coaching position and I am so excited to coach these young ladies with their enthusiasm, determination, and dedication to the team,” said Sprayberry. “This year, we have a very young team and will be focusing mainly on the fundamentals of the game.”
Being the daughter of a former collegiate volleyball player and head coach, Sprayberry brings a great amount of volleyball knowledge to the table.
“I grew up around the game of volleyball considering my mom is a former collegiate volleyball player and head coach,” said Sprayberry. “I am so excited to have my mom, Jean Sprayberry and Danielle Rickels as my assistant coaches this year. These women bring a great amount of experience to the table and a true passion for the game of volleyball.”
The Lady Tigers open the 2021 season at home against Munford on August 23.
