ALEXANDER CITY, Ala. – Central Alabama Community College (CACC) has announced that Daniel Allen is the new head coach of its golf program.
The appointment ushers in a new era for golfing at CACC with Allen poised to lead the Trojans to greater heights.
Boasting an impressive 11-year coaching career, Allen brings a wealth of experience, including 15 team victories, seven at the NCAA Division I level. His accolades, such as the 2021 Mark Laesch Award and the 2018 Sun Conference Coach of the Year, underscore his commitment to excellence.
CACC President Jeff Lynn expressed excitement about the addition, stating, “We are excited to welcome Daniel to the Trojan family. His impressive track record and commitment to greatness align perfectly with the legacy of our golf program. We are confident that he will continue to elevate our team’s prestige and success.”
Athletic Director Steve Lewis echoed Lynn’s sentiments, emphasizing Allen’s proven leadership in coaching and fundraising as invaluable assets for the program’s growth.

Allen, holding a Master of Science in Intercollegiate Athletic Administration from California University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from Eckerd College, brings a comprehensive background that includes coaching positions at Saginaw Valley State University and the University of South Carolina-Beaufort.
