MONTGOMERY, Ala. – Four Central Alabama Community College employees were honored on Sunday, Nov. 24 at the 2025 Chancellor’s Awards Ceremony during the Alabama Community College Association Conference in Montgomery.
The annual awards, presented by Chancellor Jimmy Baker, recognize excellence across the state’s community colleges and highlight individuals who make a lasting impact on their campuses. Each participating institution may nominate one administrator, one support staff member, and two faculty members.
Central Alabama Community College’s honorees represent a range of roles but share a commitment to students, colleagues, and the college’s mission.
The 2025 Chancellor’s Award recipients from the college are:
Administrator Kendal Entrekin
Academic Faculty member Anne-Marie Evans
Technical Faculty member Vanessa Clark
Support Staff member Michael McLain
College leaders said each honoree brings professionalism, steadiness, and a strong sense of purpose to their work. Whether teaching in the classroom, supporting daily operations, or overseeing administrative efforts, their contributions help shape the student experience and strengthen the college community.
President Jeff Lynn praised the employees for their service and the example they set for others across campus.
“Kendal, Anne-Marie, Vanessa, and Michael reflect the kind of dedication that moves our college forward,” President Lynn said. “They are trusted by their students and respected by their colleagues, and their work has a clear and meaningful impact across CACC. We are proud to recognize them as this year’s Chancellor’s Award recipients.”
The Chancellor’s Awards highlight the talent and commitment found throughout the Alabama Community College System and celebrate individuals whose everyday efforts advance the mission of their institutions.
