ALEXANDER CITY, Ala. – Central Alabama Community College has announced the appointment of Brandy Mitchell as the newly appointed Dean of Academic Programs, effective immediately.
Having joined the college in 2002, Mitchell has consistently demonstrated her unwavering commitment to the surrounding community. She began her journey as an English Instructor and rapidly progressed through various roles, including Academic Discipline Chair, QEP Director, and Division Chair for Distance Education.
Brandy has played a vital role in the advancement of Central Alabama Community College, notably contributing to the success of the Pratt’s Mill Center.
“Brandy’s leadership and dedication to CACC have been truly remarkable. Her unwavering commitment and genuine passion for education have significantly contributed to the growth and accomplishments of our institution,” said President Jeff Lynn. “I have full confidence that as the Dean of Academic Programs, Brandy will continue to drive our mission forward and introduce innovative and captivating academic programs for our students.”
In her new capacity, Mitchell will retain her position as the campus administrator for the Prattville campus, effectively managing her responsibilities as the Dean of Academic Programs.
