SYLACAUGA, Ala. – The Talladega County Republican Party (DEGAGOP) Executive Committee will meet from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Harvey’s on Noble in Sylacauga on March 17, 2022.
The guest speaker will be Greg Cook, candidate for the Alabama Supreme Court. He has just finished serving as general counsel for the Alabama Republican Party and has been deeply involved in Republican politics most of his life.
Cook served as a delegate for Donald Trump in 2020 and has almost 25 years of experience in the Jefferson County and Alabama Republican Party. He is also an Air Force veteran.
Cook is a partner at the firm of Balch & Bingham where he has practiced for 30 years. He is a 1991 graduate of Harvard Law School, magna cum laude, and served as executive editor of the Harvard Journal of Law and Public Policy with Justice Neil Gorsuch. Cook authored the leading treatise on Alabama Civil Procedure and co-authored two American Bar Association (ABA) books on class actions.
