SYLACAUGA, Ala. – The Sylacauga Chamber of Commerce and many member businesses are giving shoppers more incentives shop at home during this holiday season through Buy Local Christmas Bingo.
Here’s how it works:
First, grab need a bingo card from the Chamber or a participating business, or print one from the Chamber of Commerce website. The card features four rows and four columns of businesses and one free space. When an item is purchased from a participating business, your card will be marked. After 10 purchases, turn your card in at the Sylacauga Chamber as an entry to win one of more than 15 prizes, including $100 in cash.
Of course, no purchase is necessary. Alternate entry forms are also available.
Buy Local Christmas Bingo is just one more reason to stay home and shop local. “Businesses have put extra emphasis on promotions during the Christmas season to keep people shopping local,” said Sylacauga Chamber of Commerce Marketing Director Laura Strickland. “It’s crucial to support all of our businesses, especially during this time of year. It contributes to the success of our community.”
The deadline to submit your bingo card or entry form is Tuesday, Dec. 20. Prize winners will be notified by the Chamber for pick-up from Dec. 21-22.
