VINCENT, Ala. – The Build-A-Bridge Community Pantry in Vincent raised funds to provide 650 holiday meal boxes so that families in the region can enjoy a warm Thanksgiving meal together. Now, attentions turn to the distribution of those holiday meal boxes, and that’s happening on Friday, Nov. 21.
Does that mean it’s too late to make a difference for others in need? The answer is no. The pantry will continue receiving donations through the end of the month, and they are confident that “the Lord will, as always, prove faithful.”
Besides the Holiday Meal Box project, there are other efforts to expand their food ministry to meet more needs.
So far, Build-A-Bridge has raised $18,700.08 toward a $23,000 goal in their BIG GIVE campaign. That’s only $4,300 away from exceeding a lofty goal that will go toward, among other things, purchasing a larger box truck that will allow the organization to reach more food sources and serve even more families in need.
Build-A-Bridge invites you to join them to fully fund these local projects so every family in the region can have full plates and full hearts during this challenging season.
