SYLACAUGA, Ala. – The B.B. Comer Library will continue its Winter 2023 Brown Bag Lecture Series this Wednesday, Feb. 15, with special guest Elnora Spencer.
Spencer, a Birmingham native, will perform the “Best of the Jazzy Blues” starting at 12:00 p.m. in the Harry I. Brown Auditorium.
Ms. Spencer comes from a family of musicians and has been singing since the age of four. In 2014, she was elected into the Alabama Blues Hall of Fame.
She and her traveling group of performers will serenade those in attendance Wednesday with an afternoon of memorable songs.
Doors to the Brown Bag Lecture Series will open at 11:30 a.m.
Participants are encourage to bring their own sandwich for lunch. The library will provide bottled water, and Hickory Street Cafe will provide a prepackaged dessert at the door.
