BREAKING: Student struck at crosswalk behind SHS; heavy first responder presence on scene

SYLACAUGA, Ala. – On Tuesday afternoon, a band student was struck by a vehicle while using the crosswalk behind Sylacauga High School.

The incident happened around 5:30 p.m. A heavy police and fire crew presence is on the scene at the 6th St. and Norton intersection.

The extent of the unnamed student’s injuries are not known.
