[BREAKING] Major accident on U.S. Hwy 280 Eastbound

CHILDERSBURG, Ala. – A serious traffic accident just outside of Childersburg involving an 18-wheeler and an overturned cement truck has occurred on U.S. Hwy 280 Eastbound, just before the Coosa River bridge.

Multiple emergency crews are on the scene, but no further information is available at this time. Motorists are advised to use caution or seek alternate routes.
