LINCOLN, Ala. – Talladega Superspeedway announced that multi-platinum Georgia native Brantley Gilbert will perform as part of the weekend’s “The Chase” triple-header during the YellaWood 500 race weekend in October.
The performance will take place Saturday night, Oct. 24, as part of an infield concert, bringing a major country music act to the track ahead of Sunday’s NASCAR Cup Series race.
According to a release, Region President Josh Harris said Gilbert’s high-energy performance will provide fans with an unforgettable night before the race.
“Brantley brings unmatched passion to his high-energy performances, and fans are in for an unforgettable night before our drivers battle in Sunday’s YellaWood 500,” Harris said.
Race weekend at Talladega Superspeedway is scheduled to begin Friday, Oct. 23, with the NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series Love’s RV Stop 225, followed by the NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series The Progress Group 250 on Saturday, Oct. 24.
The weekend will conclude Sunday, Oct. 25, with the YellaWood 500 as NASCAR Cup Series drivers take on the Talladega Superspeedway.
