SYLACAUGA, Ala. – A Black Lives Matter movement Facebook page says that it has scheduled a protest in Sylacauga.
The Facebook post says the group will protest at Central Park beginning at 2 p.m. Thursday and last until 5:00.
The post reads that this will be a peaceful protest. Vie the post below:
A different protest may be planned in Sylacauga as well. The Mayor’s office is issuing a permit for protest to Kendra Bradford for Friday night at 6:00 p.m. This protest will begin at City Hall. Protesters will then walk north on Norton to 9th St., then walk to Nobel Park.
