SYLACAUGA, Ala. – With friends, family, and supporters flocked to Bandits Bar & Grill to see if ‘Wild’ Bill and Rachel Embry would win on their episode of “Moonshiners: Master Distillers,” it was revealed that the local couple’s beverage was voted the best of the bunch.
“Bill & Rachel’s Apple Brandy” is a mixed drink with the ingredients of apple juice, fried apple puree, apples, malted wheat, malted barley, malted corn, raisins, brown sugar, white sugar, and yeast.
The show’s judges raved about the fine brandy, and in the near future, the drink will be available for purchase at the Sugarlands Distillery in Gatlinburg, Tennessee as well as other select locations.
If you missed out on celebrating with Bill and Rachel at Bandits, another watch party event will take place tonight, Dec. 29, starting at 7:00 p.m. at Bourbon on Broadway in Sylacauga.
