SYLACAUGA, Ala. – The Sylacauga Chamber of Commerce has proudly unveiled Will Davis, Jr. as the Grand Marshal for the 2023 Sylacauga Christmas Parade.
The Sylacauga native and renowned 31-year-old angler, crowned as the 2023 Bassmaster Elite Champion, will lead the festive procession on Thursday, Dec. 7 from his champion fishing boat.
A two-time BASS Nation winner and Bassmaster Classic qualifier, Davis made history as the first angler to clinch the BASS National title consecutively. Accompanied by his wife Megan, daughter Chandler, and supportive parents, Davis’s aquatic triumphs will now take a land route through Sylacauga.
Presented by Coosa Pines Federal Credit Union, the Sylacauga Christmas Parade is set to kick off at 6:00 p.m., following the typical route.
From Sylacauga High School to J. Craig Smith Community Center, the parade convoy will travel south on Broadway Ave., turn right on Fort Williams St., and turn right again onto Norton Ave.
