SYLACAUGA, Ala. – The Sylacauga Police Department responded to a bomb threat at Parker Hannifin on Friday morning.
SPD says a bomb threat was made at the Aerospace Filtration Division of the business at 11:27 a.m. The location is on lock-down and police are investigating scene as well as determining if the source is credible.
Parker Hannifin released a statement:
We are cooperating with investigators that are on the scene, and thankful that there has been no incident and no injuries.
Shortly after 12:30 p.m. employees were dismissed and authorities reopened the scene. No evidence of a bomb was found.
