SYLACAUGA, Ala. – The Isabel Anderson Comer Museum and Arts Center is hosting an Artist Reception this evening (Thursday, August 17). Featured artists for the month are Liz Douglas and Elena Crattic.
The artist reception will be 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The exhibit showcases paintings by both artists, and their artwork will remain on display through the end of the month.
The museum invites everyone to attend this reception, and admission is free. Live entertainment will be provided by Donnie Kitchins, and refreshments will be served.
The Comer Museum is located at 711 N. Broadway Ave., Sylacauga, and it is open to the public 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Tuesday through Friday.
The Comer Museum and Arts Center is a non-profit organization, and donations are welcome.

The Comer Museum will host a Chair-Art-Y Fundraising Event on August 27, and a Photography Contest will be held during the month of September. The Photography Contest awards reception will be September 21.
