CHILDERSBURG, Ala. – The Auburn University Raptor Center will bring its popular bird of prey program to the R.S. Limbaugh Community Center gymnasium in Childersburg on Tuesday, July 15, at 1:00 p.m.
Admission is $5 per person, cash only at the door. The event will run until 2:00 p.m.
Attendees will have the opportunity to see a variety of birds, including one of the famous Auburn Eagles, up close. The show is hosted by the Auburn Raptor Center, a division of the College of Veterinary Medicine, which rehabilitates injured raptors that cannot return to the wild.
The center’s mission includes providing expert medical care to wild raptors, supporting conservation efforts, and educating the public about these powerful birds and their ecosystems.
Presented by Childersburg Parks and Recreation, the show is family-friendly and open to all ages.
